No this is not the famous chocolate, however it is the famous fried chicken in Maryland, or maybe only Montgomery County. Our first visit to this place was very strange as it was across some railroad tracks and no other homes or business seemed close by. It was only told to us by a friend and when we were outside standing in front of an old house we didn't know what we were getting into. Giving this place the benefit of the doubt and not just judging it from the outside we walked inside to find a hollowed out house that had ample room for seating. But enough with
what the restaurant look like, the food took some time to come out. Frying chicken to perfection sometimes has that effect. As you can see the portions were very nice and everything was homemade. Fried chicken came out piping hot with added fixings on the side. Although it was bit on the salty side, it was one of the best fried chicken in MD.
Very crispy and juicy on the inside. If your ever in the mood for good home style cooking in Montgomery County, this is the place to be! Service was very pleasant and cordial. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. Because you can be missing out on some good food. One more thing, although Popeyes is good for a quick fix, this place gives you the fried chicken without the greasy oily face afterward, and just like Popeyes this place have coupons in the paper! Enjoy!
