The famous George Town cupcake! Being featured on food network does help, and having your own TV show will get you customers like none other. George Town Cupcakes is now one of the must go to places when your in George Town for a visit. Its a great gift and will always put a smile on a girls face! The cupcakes are very moist and tasty. Internally not too sweet and not dry at all, some even have a savory melted chocolate filling in the middle. The most important thing that makes the cupcake and gives it the flavor is the home made frosting on top.
However to get this cupcake be prepared to stand in line for +15mins. There is always a long line at there doors and seating is near to impossible, but don't give up hope. The store is super clean and the service is wonderful and patient. They don't herd you like sheep (unlike Ray's hell burger) which is quality CRM!
A cool fact about Georgetown Cupcake is that everyday they give away free cupcakes. (while supplies last) If you have a facebook, then friend them and see there new status updates. They will tell you the flavor of the day and if you go in early enough to ask for it you will get a free cupcake!http://www.facebook.com/georgetowncupcake
If you have never gone then I suggest you do. Its one of those things in which you must do if you live in the area and that "everyone" has gone to before.
