Baked Cookies, a huge bag of Chocolate chips? No try a morning bunch buffet filled with goodies such as a raw oyster bar, locs and bagels, home made waffles, sausages and bacon, shrimp, salmon, spider crab, PRIME RIB! Every good breakfast buffet needs to have fresh slow roasted Prime Rib, Snow crab legs, Smoked Salmon and raw oysters. I mean that exactly what your craving for when you wake up you know? The buffet has a mix of items and its pretty good, everything is more of less made on the spot, and by that I mean its not microwaved or reheated. Unlike many Chinese or American buffet the quality can be tasted. The selection is the definition of brunch cause they have both breakfast and lunch items. However the some things to warn you is location, line and seating. First, this place can get packed very quickly, without reservations your probably looking at a 15-20min wait. Secondly even if you have reservations you want to make sure that you don't have the cellar or wine room seating. Mrs. Kay's toll house is another cottage house turned into a restaurant. There are many different seating areas, however I do not enjoy dark, damp seating areas, if possible request the Sun room. Third, the parking here is very limited and confusing at times as you always take a chance parking on the side roads that aren't really marked and you won't notice until your car is towed away or ticked. The Buffet line can also get long and tired some as the person in front of may not have been fed for months and devour and stack their plates leaving you nothing, but I guess that just means he food is extremely good? Well this place is pretty good for a buffet and would also be nice doubling as a family reunion brunch. It is a bit pricey, but if its once in your lifetime than why not?
