This is now one of my favorite sushi places to go there. In fact I've been there at least once a month. The first time I was there in 2010 wasn't the best, however they must have made some changes as there sushi has became grade A quality!
Sushi is not fresh and the rice that comes with it isn't dry or spoiled.(yes it is important to have good sushi rice with the fresh fish)
My favorite type of sushi now is nigiri sushi, which they have the standard Tuna, Salmon, Yellow tail, White Tuna. They are always fresh and perfectly size, as sushi should be.
Fridays must be special as they have a large sushi boat with huge fresh rolls that are deep fried, sauced and filled with surprises!
Also they have Udon noodles and it is EPIC!
For $12 you really cant beat that at all. Think, if you go to a sit down sushi restaurant you are going to spend $12 for one good roll, or for two rolls, at Matsutake your spending only $12 for the same great quality sushi but for ALL YOU CAN EAT!
The only draw back is the short lunch buffet time, parking and customer service, I went there on a Friday, it was 1:30pm and they claimed they ran out of Salmon Nigiri, than again I cleaned out the place.
Great place that I recommend everyone try and the only decent on in Arlington.
