First I want to say that this place is reasonably price and quality has increased dramatically. This is not what it use to be, and has been revamped, new management or something. Sushi Chalet is no longer the sushi crap hole. There are now new fresh selections, new menu and two new bars, either salad bar or cooked bar. The Sushi has transformed into a better quality. Mixed with raw, cooked and deep fried sushi, each plate is labeled and show what is in them. You no longer need to guess what your eating and or wonder what is in the volcano roll or rainbow row.

The service was great, and very prompt, although we were the only customers during dinner on a Saturday night. I felt really sad eating here as it had changed. As I've said many times this place has gone up in quality. You really can't beat the price to what your getting. Some people might say its not always quantity over quality. This is true, however when its $14 dinner for the same quality of sushi that you would get at a sit down restaurant for $40, I would pick the one providing more, which this place does! This is now on my 'A' list in MD (not VA) as a good quality Sushi place. This is my first time back since the epic change. I hope to go here more when I'm craving sushi and hopefully there will be more business so that Sushi Chalet can stay open. I would hate to see this place go out of business because the word hasn't gotten out that its BETTER! Hope you all can try this place out and enjoy it as much as I did!

This place gets better. The food is always good, cheap and most important Tasty!!!
However.... the Nigiri could use less rice and a thicker cut of fish.. just a bit please!
